This model is a true classic in the field of Chesterfields. The Balmoral Chesterfield is manufactured using traditional methods and with love for the upholstery profession. It uses high-quality materials such as a solid beech frame, steel nosag and coil springs and high-quality leather.The frame consists of solid beech wood. Beech is a durable type of wood, widely used as furniture construction wood because of its strength and hardness. First, steel springs are attached to the framework. These are covered with spring cloth and a layer of foam. Then black cotton cloth is placed as a finish. This black cotton fabric also has an anti-slip function to prevent the loose seat cushions from sliding.The capitoning is what gives a Chesterfield its famous look. We prefer to use full-grain leather.
When upholstering, the buttons are tightened by inserting a large needle with thread through the leather to then be fastened. The creases are set into the leather and when this is done the finishing touches can begin. Decorative rivets, piping, feet in the desired color.
The Balmoral can be upholstered as desired in leather or fabric, the finish with piping or ornamental rivets, height and color of the legs, the number of cushions: everything is made according to your wishes. A good interior, solid upholstery and good leather guarantee years of seating pleasure.

With normal use, you will enjoy your Bendic furniture for years to come. We are so convinced of the quality of our furniture that we apply the following warranty conditions:
- The leather has a 5-year warranty.
- A 10-year warranty on the internal workings.
All Bendic furniture is delivered to the address indicated, either by our own delivery service or by our regular furniture transporter. Delivery to a private individual is also possible. In that case, we place the furniture in any desired location in the house, provide the seating furniture with felt if necessary and provide maintenance advice. We take any packaging material back to our warehouse for recycling.
Please note that the full-grain leather we mainly use has a number of typical characteristics. You should also remember that the structure of the leather is visible, due to the open structure of the skin. Imperfections in the leather, insect bites and scars can also be visible. Any desired colour can be made based on a full-grain leather, this is because we colour and finish the skins ourselves.
Full grain leather needs regular maintenance, for which we recommend wiping your furniture with a damp cloth regularly. We also recommend treating your furniture with a leather cream twice a year. This leather cream is available at Bendic, for the sake of completeness we have provided each piece of seating furniture with maintenance instructions.
