This model is a true classic in the Chesterfields area.
The Balmoral Chesterfield is manufactured using traditional methods and with a great deal of love for traditional upholstering. high-quality materials such as a solid beech frame, steel rivet and coil springs and high-quality leather are the bases of a fine Chesterfield.
The frame is made of solid beech wood. Beech wood is a sustainable type of wood that is often used as furniture construction wood because of its strength and hardness.
First of all, steel nosag springs are attached to the framework. These are covered with a special cloth and a layer of foam.
Then black cotton cloth is placed as a finish. This black cotton cloth also has an anti-slip function to prevent the loose seat cushions from sliding.
The buttoning is what gives a Chesterfield its familiar appearance.
We prefer to use full-grain leather, click here to read more.
For upholstering we mainly use full-grain skins selected by us. When upholstering, the buttons are tightened by inserting a large needle with thread through the leather and then securing it. The pleats are made and when this is done the finishing can begin. Decorative nails, piping, legs in every desired colour.
Finally, the leather is finished by hand to give it a warm looks with colour nuances.
The Balmoral can be upholstered in leather or fabric with piping or decorative nails. Thee height and colour of the legs, the number of cushions: everything is made to your wishes.
A good interior, solid upholstery and good leather guarantee years of pleasure with this sofa.
